COVID-19 Update [May 28, 2020]
Western Parking & Visitor Services is not collecting fees on Faculty/Staff parking permits for the months of April, May, June and July.
This will impact our customers as follows:
- Customers using payroll deduction will not have parking fees deducted for these months. Permits will remain intact and no action is required.
- Customers who have prepaid by cash, credit or debit for these months will have fees transferred for future month(s), or can be refunded in person when the office reopens.
As the phased return to campus continues to take shape, it is expected that parking fees will resume for the month of August. This is subject to change and we will continue to assess in alignment with the broader campus phased return.
Parking & Visitor Services will resume monitoring lots on June 3rd as additional staff begin returning to campus. Permit holders are reminded to park in their designated lots. To ease this transition and facilitate ongoing community services, parking lot gate arms will remain raised, however lots will be monitored and those infringing on fire routes, laneways, accessible and reserved spaces will be contacted.
Our office service desk remains closed and your patience during our reduced service level has been greatly appreciated.
Stay healthy and safe!
COVID-19 Update [March 25, 2020]
The Parking Office is now closed for in-person service following the provincial government's directive to implement an essential services model.
Parking staff will be monitoring incoming emails and will be reaching out to customers when any information is available regarding permits and parking-related business. Please watch your Western email for these communications. In the meantime, feel free to send your questions or concerns to: email@example.com
You may experience a delay in our response due to the volume of emails at this time. We're doing our best to serve you and appreciate your patience. The Parking Staff thanks you, once again, for your continued support as we work through this together!
